The aim is to train members of staff in the recognition and safe use of the portable fire extinguishers located at your site, in order that they might reduce the possibility of fire and extinguish a small fire if one occurs. 

Delegates will learn the basic theory of fire development and fire spread. Delegates will understand about the different types of fire ensuring that the correct extinguisher is used every time. Using the portable Fire Training Rig, the course will teach delegates how to operate a fire extinguisher with hands on experience. This can be taken as a stand-alone course or as a follow on from our Fire Marshall/Warden training.
